Cool Story

So how many times do you see a wandering dog and just pass by without looking to see if it had tags or a name or a microchip?? Well, I have a hard time just passing by because I think about what I would think if it were my pet. True, I am an animal lover at heart so that helps the situation.
Lastnight I was just leaving my house with Bruno amd Baylee to go on a little stroll. Baylee all of the sudden says she "hears a doggie". Next thing i know a big pitbull comes around the corner! As Bruno goes into LMS(little man syndrome) mode, I realize this dog isn't going to hurt any of us. He just keeps sniffing around ignoring the excessive growling produced by Bruno. So, I shove Bruno back into the house and watch the dog wander up my little street. For a brief moment I think I'll just let him go....but the tags around his neck make me think about how much someone must love him. I go up to him, and after a little persuasion, he comes to me with his tail wagging. His name is Tigger and I immediately call the number on his tag. The lady on the other end is so happy to hear someone found her "baby"! They had just gotten back from the store to make posters to put up. He'd been missing over a day and they had been searching all over the place. She got my location and said she'd be right there. In the meantime, Baylee is just lovin' on this dog. He is probably more than double her size....but he sure is sweet. The owner gets there after getting lost a few times. (on a side note: why must girls wear things that don't hold their "girls" in very well?? you can imagine this lady jumping outa her car, all excited, with her boobs half hangin' out. sorry for the mental pic) She thanks me profusely and tries to hand me a wad of cash. I tell her i don't her money....several times....but after being told that it would have been the reward money for Tigger's return, they finally talk me into taking it. I shove the wad into my pocket and give Tigger a pat goodbye. When I walk into the house, I decide to look at how much my good-deed paid me.....500 DOLLARS! Thats right....I expected a 20 or so....nope, 500 dollars!! Turns out good-deeds do have an awesome payout every once in a while. I'm kinda thinkin' now that I should have given $300 back and told her to get his "man parts" removed. Might help the roaming situation. But thats just my vet brain talkin'. I'm gonna go buy me some new clothes or something. Woohoo!!

Rodeo Queen

My friend Mal is one of those....rodeo flag ladies. (I guess thats what you would call them??) Anywho, she took Baylee on a horse ride around the corral, and boy did she love it!When asked if she wanted to be a rodeo queen, she nodded yes like it was a dumb question! Ofcourse she wants to be a rodeo queen!
She just smiled the entire time!

And then she got to watch the rodeo.....and she was amazed by it all. I'm afraid my lil girl might be into the expensive pets. But i was when i was a kid and never got the "real horse" i wanted every Christmas. We'll see.....now mommy and Baylee both like expensive pets! If wishes were fishes...

Sunshine!

I know the sunshine can be dangerous in large amounts......but when you have sunshine, a swimming pool, lounge chairs, and a few days to hang around......I can't help but to go out and bake! I love the sunshine! And as you can see my lil Baylee does too!

Life changes

My lil sista is gettin' hitched in July! I wasn't really bothered by it until she had her first bridal shower this past weekend. What the......!!! She's supposed to be the little girl I used to pick on. It's totally mind blowing to think about!!

How many are fakes??

Do you ever wonder how many people are really who they say they are in public? How many people have secrets? I bet we'd be surprised to find out the true answer to that question. I mean, I even have secrets. And some I may just take to my grave. It just bothers me when people try to act like people they aren't. I'm pretty certain I act like who I am. Do you??

Why Blog??

K.....so here's the skinny on things: Why do I blog? I really can't answer that question. Not very many people even look at my blog. Maybe thats because I haven't told very many people about it. I dunno. I just know that lately I've been thinkin' about what a waste it is to write random comments that nobody reads......Hmmm......

Hair-Do

So, I've been experimenting with different hairstyles lately. Mostly because I'm bored with the same old same old. So for those of you who have seen me with a few different "do's".....tell me what you think about this one and if you have suggestions for anything else you think might look good on me. I'm not just talkin' about how I do my hair....I'm talkin' coloring, cutting, etc. I need a change!

Do you ever wonder what woulda happened if you woulda made a different decision?? How would your life be? What path might you have taken? Just some thoughts rollin' around in my head. :)

What I would do with lots of money!

O.k., so I totally stole the idea for this post from a friend.....but I like the idea so here it goes!
I want to tell ya'll what I'd do if I had lots of money. And there's no way I could tell everything. Here are just a few:
1. I would build a house that I designed. I'm not fancy by any means but it sure would be fun to have a few things about a house that are from my mind and inspiration.
2. I would help family members and friends out that deserved to be helped out. No freebies if you don't even appreciate what life is about and how things work. I don't like freeloaders....you know who you are!
3. I would give to a few charities.....but I would do a lot of research first to also make sure they are deserving. I don't like it when people take advantage of charities when they could really just get off their a@# and work. I know.......work is hard! Life is just so rough!
4. I would buy a brand-spankin'-new car! I love the new mustangs! I'm sure if money wasn't an issue I may choose something different, but those are my dreams for now.

Anyway, there you have it. I'd like to improve my life and work hard to deserve money. And so, if any of you have money just lying around......WILL WORK FOR MONEY!
